On October 4, 2004, Gebeba's Texas True Grit, AKA,John Wayne, was born at GEBEBA Kennels. His parents,CH Gebeba's Wave Runner and CH Gebeba's Sand Piper were bred by George & Betty Barth and co-owned with his breeder,Jerry Barlet.
John Wayne receives a group placement from respected judge Claire (Kitty) Stiedel. Mrs Steidel is known for writing the first book published on the breed in the US and her volunteer work for the PBGVCA in judges education.
