We are Donnie and Donna Moore and we live on a 150-acre farm twenty miles south of Ft. Worth Texas. On the farm there is a large menagerie of critters.

We raise Alpine and Toggenburg dairy goats and have had quite a lot of success in the show ring but they are becoming very labor intense with all the milking twice a day so we are down sizing our dairy herd so we can concentrate on our PB's. We also have Limousin Cattle, one llama, chickens, ducks, turkeys and miniature donkeys. So you see we love animals.

We also employ the help of working guard dogs. We have four Great Pyrenees that guard our goats in the pasture and then one Anatolian Shepherd and one Greater Swiss Mt Dog that guards our house and the PBGV yard. The PBs have more fun running around chasing Mozart and Beyaz.

Our puppies are all whelped in our bedroom right next to my bed. The puppies are all raised in our home with the other Peebs and are socialized by our seven grandchildren, so they are ready for just about anything when they leave the farm.

My love for the PBGVs started when I saw Charmaine prancing happily around the ring as I watched the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on TV. I told my husband, Donnie, then that when we lost our beloved standard poodle, Lily, I wanted one of those happy little dogs to help heal my broken heart.

Well, I did not know the length we had to go through to get one, but it was all worth it. Finally we got our first PBGV! She was a beautiful pet quality puppy to satisfy me until a show bitch became available. Her name is Clarabelle and she came from Pine Edge.

Then, later on, Dorothy Clinton of Pine Edge Kennels sent us a beautiful show quality puppy, her name is CH. Pine Edge Joli J Luxuex. Joli was the dam of our first homebred M&M litter, producing five champions! You can find the rest of this story continued on OUR DOGS web page.
