OUR FIRST PBGV was a beautiful pet quality puppy. Her name is Clarabelle and she came from Pine Edge Kennels. She came to comfort us after the loss of our beloved standard poodle, Lily, and she kept my urge to get a show puppy satisfied until a show bitch became available. Clarabelle is still with us and sleeps on my bed.
OUR FIRST SHOW DOG was soon to follow, Dorothy Clinton of Pine Edge Kennels sent us a beautiful show quality puppy; her name is CH. Pine Edge Joli J Luex. Joli was the dam of our first homebred, M&M litter. Bred to Ch Carcinet Dumbledor of Gebeba (Wizard), she produced five champions! Her second litter, sired by Ch Gebeba's Poindexter has two bitches out showing now.

OUR NEXT STEP was to acquire a beautiful little bitch from Betty & George Barth of Gebeba Kennels. She was from the Dream Team! Sired by James, Ch Gebeba's Je Suis Prest, ROMX out of Ch. Gebeba's Izzablaze of Pineacre, ROM. She became our second bitch to finish an AKC championship title. Ch Gebeba's Dream to Treasure, aka Toots.
Toots is truly a dream to own, she has such a sweet personality and she is closely related to our very first PBGV, Clarabelle. Their dad is James and their moms, Izzabelle and Izzablaze are sisters.
At her first National competition, Toots won the 9-12 month class at the PBGVCA National Specialty Show in Chicago, she finished her championship in short order and she is now the dam of a litter sired by CH Skycastle Riddle of Gebeba.

THE SUPER STAR of our pack is CH Gebeba's Texas True Grit, alias: John Wayne! I had told Betty & George that I wanted a top notch male PBGV to special, that I was not in a hurry, just when ever one came along, for her to let me know! Well he did and she did! We got our little guy at the Eukanuba Show in 2004. He was about 12 weeks old. He was a big winner from the very beginning. Handler, Jim Hall, started out with him and on his first weekend out, at just six months and one week old, John Wayne was awarded Best of Breed and then went on to garner third place in the Hound Group ! He continued on to win several more group placements before he turned a year old.
